Economic Balance

The economy in the North and South

South-
After the Civil War was over and the south came home to a tragedy. All the product, cotton, they would use to sell was lost. The South also did not like to use paper money because they thought that it wasn't trust worthy. It became hard for the South to feed everyone in the side of the country. The south began to really struggle.

North-
The conflict in the North died down and they almost had no problems. Great amount of food even though the population was enlarged. More railroad usage, paper money was used, but still finding a way to get more cash.
