Bleeding Kansas 1856

WHAT HAPPENED?

The people in Kansas were fighting over whether or not Kansas was going to become a free state or a slave state.

The north had came pouring in on the election in legislature to vote for no slavery in Kansas and kind of started the whole thing.

SOUTH

The southerners were supporting some of Kansas' decisions on pro-slavery and were some what helping them in their 'fight'
