How Is Osmolarity Found?
Osmolarity is found by looking at the percent of change in the 24 hour time period in which the experiment was occurring. The percent was found by subtracting the initial mass from the new mass, dividing the difference by the initial mass, and multiplying the quotient by 100. The product was rounded to the nearest percent to get the approximate result.
