Sarah Grimke- ran a school for women with her sister Angelina. They both complained in "Letters on the Equality of the Sexes and the Condition of Women.

Emma Willard- opened one of the first hardest schools for women in Troy, New York. It led to more schools opening for women.

Mary Lyon- found another important school to improve women's education. The name of the school was Mount Holyoke Female Seminary, located South Hadly, Massachusetts.
