Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott worked together to create a women's rights convention, in New York. This convention was known as the Seneca Falls Convention. They created an agenda and a detailed statement of grievances. Staton used the Declaration of Independence as a model for the Declaration of Sentiments. This agenda talks about how women should have the same rights as men and be treated equally.
