Page 24: CTQ #4- When we begin to become dehydrated, we usually become thirsty, which causes us to drink fluids. Based on what you know about homeostatic systems, decide whether the thirst sensation is part of a negative or positive feedback control system and defend your choice.
--Negative Feedback Control
-A negative feedback control is when the output shuts off the original effect of the stimulus or reduces its intensity. cause the variable to change in a direction opposite to initial change.
-You feel thirsty so you drink water and then you aren't thirsty. Drinking water doesn't make you feel more thirsty which is how it would be. Negative feedback.
