Novel's Author's Possible Opinion

If the author ever saw this article, she would most likely agree with the way the article's writer handled her situation. According to the novel, Chet tries to helpJuli see past Bryce and his looks, even saying,"Get beyond his eyes and his smile and the sheen of his hair—look at what's really there." The article's writer did exactly that. She looked past that handsome face and saw a corny flirt! Also, I think the author would have liked how the writer did not make her hate obvious like Juli. In the passages, Juli disses Bryce and fully ignores him. The author most likely did that to make Bryce seem guilty creating the somewhat happy ending. The author would also be able to tell reality and know that the dissing should not be too harsh and admire the fact that the writer of the article does not mind her ex crush but instead only talks to him when necessary.
