The Basic View

In Flipped, there are many instances of misjudgment. All of them are based on appearance and lack of knowledge about the other. As said by Eminem, "My thing is, until you've lived my life and until you've been through what I've been through, don't judge me! Don't judge anything I say!" As these characters get a small insight of what happens in the person that they just judged's day, they realize their judgements are wrong and learn from it. Nothing truly is what it appears to be. One may look at the background of this slide and say,"Wow, that is one ugly old women!" Another person may conclude,"Wow, that girl is pretty!" The only way to figure out what this painting truly shows is to ask the artist instead of immediately judging it's a girl or an elder.
