The main objective of the game is to score more runs than your opponents. You do this by hitting. In MLB(Major League Baseball), you use a wood bat. In Little League, you use aluminum bats. When you are up to bat, pull back, and SWING. If the bases are full and you hit a home run, it is called a Grand Slam. On this hit, your team gets four runs. Now, you will learn a couple things about fielding. When you field, you do it in a specific way; you square up into a triangle and catch the ball. Once that is done, throw the ball to the first baseman. If he catches the ball with his foot on the base before the runner gets there, he is out. There are three outs in an inning.
Now you will learn what equipment to wear. First, you need a hat and uniform that tells you what team you are currently on. The uniform must have your number and last name. You must also have baseball pants. Most people prefer white and some like gray. The last equipment you need is a belt, a pair of cleats, and socks representing your team color. Here are some of baseballs main rules.
