Baseball is a sport that involves rules, fielding, pitching, errors, and lots of batting. These are the instructions on how to play America's National Pastime. First, you must have very good sportsmanship. This means you cannot cheat, brag, quit because your team is loosing, or yell at your teammates if they do something wrong. The next tip is on positions. There are 9 players on the field at a time. Those players are called Pitcher, Catcher, First Baseman, Second Baseman, Third Baseman, Shortstop, Left Fielder, Center Fielder, and Right Fielder.
Here is how to play baseball. First, you must know how to bat. When you step up to the plate, you wait for the pitch. When the pitcher starts to release the ball, take a small step towards the pitcher. When you feel like swinging, take a clean swing but don't let go of the bat. If you hit the ball, run to first base. If you get out, who cares? Your teammates still have two more outs. If you are not out and the coach says, "Go Two!" then go to second base. If you hit it far enough or hit it over the fence, you circle the bases and score a run.
