Simple Machines
Definition- a non-motorized device that changes the direction or magnitude of a force. (A simple mechanism to provide mechanical advantage)
Simple machines were created to make work easier. Humans don't have to input as much effort force, or use as much distance to complete a task.
However, the amount of work output is never greater than the work input, whether you're using a simple machine or not.
I believe that the wheel and axle would be the simple machine to require the least amount of effort force. I think this because all you would have to do would be to push the object, and let it roll. With other simple machines, you either have to have the strength to make it work, or have another invention to help you.
