Some factors like latitude, altitude, and prevailing wind currents affect climate.
Latitude- measures how far away from the equator you are
If you are very close to the equator, you will have hotter weather and more dry and humid climate.
Latitude affects climate because depending on how far from the equator you are, you will have drier and hotter climate.
Altitude- measures how high off sea level you are
The higher you go, the colder it is due to the lack of oxygen. Climate will be colder up higher (like on mountains)
