Tissues and Repairing Wounds
1. To repair tissue, injured cells become inflamed and permeable.
2. White blood cells begin clotting to stop the loss of blood.
3. The clot forms, and the excess waste is removed through the lymphatic system.
4. The clot becomes replaces by granulation tissue, which becomes scar tissue.
5. As the regenerating epithelium thickens, the scab detaches.
