-Brahmins offered sacrifice of food or drinks to gods
-Once the Aryans began to change, religious beliefs did as well
-Moved towards BRAHMAN (a single spiritual power that existed beyond the many gods or Vedas that resided in all things)
-Moved towards mysticism. MYSTICS (people who seek direct communications with divine forces)
-Began to practice yoga and meditations
