Deciding to Help

Living on the large land of the Gondi, St Vincent was often faced with many poor peasants who worked there. The more he saw, the more his attitude changed. He began to realize just how neglected the poor were. One account specifically, put him into action. The confession of a dying man, on how much St. Vincent had helped him, urged him to take a bigger part in the helping of others. He would soon leave his comfortable position at work for the Gondi family and begin his serving of a greater good.
