Women in Abolition

Women protested for abolition in the mid 19th century. Most men did not like their teachings, but however some men did appreciate their cause. William Lloyd Garrison tried to help the women who were denied fighting against slavery. Any hostility that the women abolitionists received resulted in their cause becoming more meaningful and they became more determined.
