Deposition

Deposition- Deposition is the dropping off of weathered sediments. Sediments are picked up and moved by wind or water. Then the sediments get dropped off in a new place. Running water like rivers or streams deposit sediments along side of them. Winds can pick up sediments and carry them miles away.
