Metamorphic Rock

Metamorphic Rock- A rock that is formed by other rocks under great heat and pressure are called Metamorphic rock. Metamorphic rock can be formed from Igneous rock, Sedimentary rock or from other Metamorphic rock. For example, when the Igneous rock, Granite, goes under great heat and pressure, it transforms into gneiss.
