Question: what is a coral reef ecosystem?
Answer: in warm shallow waters you may be able to find coral reefs. They are often found in tropical areas. In these ecosystem the water usually stay between 70 and 85 degrees all around the year. Thanks to the temperature range the water allows many fish and eels to live there.organisms that are not living anymore forms the coral reefs. Coral polyps are animals that are tiny and live in large groups. When they die they leave behind hard skeletons which allow coral reef to form. Many ocean animals have homes in coral reefs. Even though the coral polyps were once living coral is an abiotic factor of the reef ecosystem.
