Food chain- the path that energy takes from one organism to another in a form of food
Producer- an organism that makes its own food
Consumer- an organism that eats other organisms
Decomposer- an organism that breaks down organisms
Herbivore- an animal that eats mainly plants
Carnivore-an animal that eats other animals
Omnivore- An animal that eats both plants and animals
Main idea
The main idea is the good chain. A food chain can also be a food web. Also the main idea are herbivores,omnivores,and carnivores

•A food chain starts when the sun's energy goes to a plant. Then an animal or insect eats the plant. Then when animal dies it's body is broken down by decomposers
•Animals are called consumers
•Green plants in a food chain are called producers
