Exploration for owl pellets

Materials:
1. Tweezers
2. Mag. glass
3. Owl pellet
4. Tray
5. Owl pellet discussion lab pages

Procedure:
1. Observe,describe,measure,and draw pellet
2. Carefully pull pellet apart using tweezers,pull pellets
3. Sort bones and identify,record on label sheets
4. Assembly skeleton,glue to sheet
5. Discuss and conclude what your animal ate

Hypothesis: we will be able to figure out what an owl ate by piecing the skeleton we find in an owl pellet.

Question: Can we identify what an owl ate by dissecting a pellet?
