11. Feudalism

Before the Reformation people would only listen to the church. Now Protestant churches started Congregations which made decisions for the people. Later people began to govern their own churches because they thought their ideas were important. Once people governed their owned churches they wanted political power as well. In some places Congregations ruled towns. In Scotland, England, and some England colonies in America some Congregations met to decide how to govern their towns. This began self-government. These congregations later gained power and shared power with National Governments. This became Feudalism.
