5. John Calvin

John Calvin was an influential reformer. One of his main teachings were predestination which was the idea that God knew who would be saved before they were born and it couldn't be changed. He also taught people to live good lives. In 1541 Geneva, Switzerland made him their religious and political leader. They were called Calvinists. They passed laws to make people live live Calvin. They also banned any entertainment. Calvin hoped to make Geneva an example for the world.
