Investigate the obstacles the Union Pacific Railroad of company faced.
The Union Pacific Railroad of company faced many obstacles. The first obstacles they faced was the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which caused the workers very much work and physical labor on such as tough terrain, using supplies such as bolts, shovels, iron rails, and picks. They used many explosives to break through hills and huge rocks, which caused the death of many workers from the explosive itself or from falling rocks, mud, dirt, and trees. Another obstacle was the harsh weather from snow, rain, and wind in the Sierras.
