Despite the harsh criticism the New Deal recieved, it still managed to have a big impact on America. The FDIC is still around today, and it protects up to $250,000 of our money in banks. Some people also argue that the government is still far too big, therefore it holds too much power. While some Americans still disagree with some of the ideas brought forth by the new deal, others continue to benefit from New Deal and it's efforts.
