The Business Communiy

Opposed the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) since it regulated the stock market.

The SEC's goal was to prevent people with inside information about companies from "rigging" the stock market for their own profit. The individuals in the business of cheating the stock market were clearly the ones who opposed this act.

The community also opposed the NRA (National Recovery Administration).The goal of the NRA was to promote recovery by interrupting the trend of wage cuts, falling prices, and lay offs.

Many businesses & politicians were critical of the NRA. Charges arose that the codes being passed served large business interests. 

In addition, there were charges of increasing code violations, which businesses did not favor since they could be shut down for violating codes.
