section hair into four quadrants.

apply protective creme to guests hairlines. mix formulas in small batches to keep color active. outline back right quadrant. start at the nape use the tail of the comb to create a 1/4'' subsection. 

it helps to clip away remaining hair. apply formula to the new growth with color brush. 

keep repeating process moving up the quadrants turn subs slightly near the right ear so you will finish with a vertical subsection. 

move to the black left quadrant outline hair repeat process. move to the front right quadrant ouline with formula take the vertical subs from the point of distribution. remember to apply alot of product to the new growth and lay each sub section away from guest face. continue taking vertical subsections and applying formula working toward the front hairline. then outline the front left quadrant with formula and repeat process. 

go back and check your applications through subsections to make sure hair is saturated. apply more color to any dried out product. to reastablish color on the midlengths and ends if color has faded 2 levels, mix enough formula to cover hair that is left. apply more protective creme and pace foil over nape. apply formula to midlenghts overlapping previous color from the other formula. 

apply formula to ends unless they are porous. repeat process in the other 3 quadrants. when processing time is complete, check balence in subsections by using a towel to wipe off color.
