Density: what percentage of hair is in a foil. light density: 30% or less of hair is in a foil. medium density: 50% hair is highlighted. 1/4-1/2''  subsections. heavy density: almost no hair is left in between 1/8-1/4'' apart. lots of dimension. 

Affect: weaving affect is most blended. 

slicing effect is more bold and chunky highlights.you go back to back so no hair is left in between foils 

fine weave 10-12 weaves of hair in a section

medium weave is 6-8 weaves in a subsection

strong weave is 2-3 weaves in a subsection.
