-section hair into 4 quadrants. 

-apply a cream around the guests hair line that protects them from getting stained. 

-mix color formula in about 40 grams so the color stays fresh. it stays fresh for about 45 mins outline back right quadrant along the parts and hairline. start at the nape in the back right quadrant. use the comb to  make a 1/4 inch subsection it helps to clip the remaining hair away so it doesn't get in the way. using your color brush apply the formula first to the scalp then to the mid lengths. if the ends of the hair are dry and porous don't put color on them if they aren't then apply color. 

lay the subsection in gloved hand use your other hand to apply formula. remember to make sure the other side of subsection is saturated. -

alpha wrap : first shampoo and rinse the hair. dont over stimulate the scalp. create a section down the middle of the head from the front hairline to the nape. hold perm rod against head to judge proper width of section. start at fron hairline. take a horizontal blocking that is that is the width of the rod you are using. place the first end paper at the midlenths at the front of the blocking which is the side away from you. 

place another paper on the underside of the hair. slide the end papers just past the ends of the hair. pick up a rod with the fastener on the sideo f your dominant hand. place therod on the side close to you at the top of the end paper. toll hair on rod maintain 90 degree elevation. keep the hair evenly distributed on rod. 

secure fastener on top of rod. repeat procedure for next blocking directly behind the first. apply a series of rods in this manner working toward the crown. two pics for every two rods. keep standing directly in front of where your working. in the nape use shorter rods with the same diameter. move to right side of the head. take a horizontal blocking. continue working on that side. continue to alternate rod sizes and placements. 

repeat process on left side. 

when all hair is wrapped apply a protective cream. around the perimeter of hairline. place cotton coil over cream. lightly mist hair if it dried before applying perm solution. thoroughly saturate all rods with solution. 

remove cotton and replace it with misted cotton. 

apply a processing cap for the hair. 

take a test curl after 5 mins. 

undo pics and rods if hair is processed. rinse with warm water at shampoo bowl. 

apply a neutralizer to the hair at the bowl. rinse neutruzlier with warm water. lightly condition and rinse hair. gently lay sub on top of foil. continue vertical subs working up getting toward the ear tilt slightly so eventually when you get toward the end they are vertical. repeat process in back left quadrant. move on to front right. again outline the quadrant. take a vertical sub from the ear to point of distribution working toward the front hairline. first apply to scalp, then mid lengths. then if needed, the ends. repeat process in left quadrant. recheck each subsection for product coverage. check for dried out product then reapply if needed. for porous ends : mix new batch of formula. then apply fresh product to both sides of mid lengths working down to porous ends. repeat until all ends are covered. wait for product to process then rinse out.
