Name Calling

Throughout his presidential campaign, Donald Trump has used colorful and arguably juvenile language to attack his opponents from the Democratic and Republican Parties, news anchors, etc.. He has called Hillary Clinton a "snake", Carly Fiorina "ugly" and even Anderson Cooper "a dumb guy with no clue", which shows obvious name calling. He has also created many attack ads against his opponents using the rude language. His targeted audience is the people of all the parties who will choose whether or not to vote for him in the 2016 elections. This frequent name calling exemplifies ethos because he has gained ethical appeal from the people for his bold statements. He is also not a politician, so naturally some people are going to trust him more than career politicians and deem him and his actions as credible and reliable.
