Education
Agnes first attended an elementary school run by a covenant. She then attended a public run secondary school. Her faith was greatly affected by her local congregation, the congregation of the Sacred Heart. Every year she joined them for trips to the Madonna of Lentice. When she was 12, Agnes reached the shrine, and says that God spoke to her, and this was when she first felt drawn to a religious life.
When she turned 18, Agnes decided she would become a nun, and traveled to Ireland to become a Loreto Sister of Ireland. It was here that she took the name Sister Mary Teresa.
