Dranafile Bojaxhiu is the mother of Mother Teresa. She was of Armenian descent, and very influential in the life of her daughter. Dranafile was known for her deep religions beliefs, and strong compassion, which she shared with her daughter. Dranafile had a very close relationship with her daughter Gonxha, and instilled in her a deep commitment to charity.

Nikola Bojaxhiu is the father of Mother Teresa. An entrepreneur, contracter, and trader of goods. He was a man of Armenian descent, deeply involved in the local Catholic Church, and very outspoken politically. He often spoke out in support of Albanian independence. When he died, he died of a mysterious illness that is still unknown, some believe it may have been the work of political enemies.
