Her Death
Mother Teresa died on September 5, 1997, after a long period of failing health. She had several health conditions including heart, lung, and kidney problems. She died at the age of 87.
Even when Mother Teresa was regarded as an international person of faith, she remained dedicated to her cause, best seen in this quote;
"By blood, I am Albanian. By citizenship, I am Indian. By faith, I am a catholic nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As to my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus"
