William Wordsworth was a romantic poet during the industrial revolution. He was an early leader of romanticism in English poetry. He ranks as one of the greatest lyric poets in the history of English literature. He enjoyed nature as a child, wandering around alone, which influenced his daffodil poem. The French Revolution also impacted many of his poems since he wrote them during that error. An Evening Walk, The Daffodil, A Letter to the Bishop of Llandaff, The Excursion and more. His work was romanticism because it focused on emotions and feelings within poems.
