DESCRIBE:
Obvious recognizable objects: wine bottles,oil jar, bowl, tea pot, fruits
The lines are thin and are draw lightly with a pencil.
The shapes of the objects are exactly what they would look like in rea life.
It is very textured. The onions look like the skin is starting to peel off because of the texture.
ANALYZE:
The emphasis is on the shapes that the artist drew. I know this because the background is white and doesn't draw my eye in while the shapes are dark and draw my attention in.
The height and width of objects balance out the height and width of other objects. They all work together.
Nothing is repeated.every object that Laraine Armenti drew is different.
The sketch is very simple.
