Pincurling

No-stem curls rest entirely above the pick-up line and
create curls with minimum mobility.
Half-stem curls, which rest half on and half off the pick-up line, create more mobility than no-stem curls.
Full-stem curls (also known as long-stem curls) rest
entirely below the pick-up line and create maximum
mobility.

- hair should be damp or wet
- apply styling aid (phomollient)
- create the "c" shape in the front of the hairline
- taking small sections, ribbon the hair and form a curl
- pin the curl against the head on the top part of the curl facing the open end
- complete the row and start on the open end, curling the hair the opposite for this row

- standup pin curls create more volume and are comparable to roller sets
- pinned at the base instead of at the top of the molding
