Diagonal Short Layer

- begin on the right side (fingers up)
- create a center part and isolate 5&6
- begin by taking 1/2" sub sections, at a slight diagonal in front of the ear
- parting "T" to the subsection
- use fine teeth of the comb and medium tension
- pick up part of the established guide and take another diagonal section
- once behind the ear and there is no established guide, pick up the previous cut hair and follow the guide down into the hair behind the ear
- repeat until the middle has been reached

- once the middle has been reached, move to the left side of the front of the head
- begin cutting diagonally repeating what was done on the right side (fingers down)
- cross check doing the opposite diagonally
- cut the front perimeter
- rectangle pie pie rectangle rectangle for the connection
- do at comb elevation
- horizontal layers on top
