-they are nomads who came from Central Asia and Europe
-they created cities
-they left artifacts behind which tells us information about them and how we got to know different things about them
--the Vedas is where we find a lot of the information about them from

Interesting thing to know about them is that "aryan" is an English language loan word derived from the Sanskrit

Aryan civilization

-they went and settled into villages
--they grew crops and made cattle
-they learned how to raise crops
-they made tools out of iron
-they loved food, drink, music, chariot races, and dice games
-they were polytheistic
--their gods and goddesses they worshiped embodied natural forces
--one of their gods was Indra, who is the god of war
--another one was Varuna, who was the god of order and creation
-when the Aryans lives changed so did their beliefs
