Chapter 9
-the Greeks are closing the gates and the Trojans are right behind them
- Zues's eagle drops a snake
- the Trojans think it is bad luck but Hector tells them it is a reminder to fight more fiercely for there country
- The Trojans break holes in the Greek wall
- Poseidon helps the Greeks by riding in on his horses with his sea monsters and gives them strength
- Ajax throws a rock at Hector, and he starts coughing up blood
-Zues sends Apollo to heal Hector
- Hector gets back on his chariot
-Hector tells the Trojans to burn down the Greek ships
