Chapter 2

-Menelaus got back and saw his wife Helen fled away with Paris
-he called for his brother Agemmemon, the high king for help
-Agamemmon calls for many other Greeks to help him get Helen back
-King Peleus and Thetis had a son, Achilles and the gods promised them if they dipped Achilles in the River of Styx then it would make him not be able to die in battle But Thetis held him by the heel that did not get dipped in so that spot is vulnerable
- Achilles decides he is going to help the Greeks
- his mom tells him that if he goes he will be famous but will die, but if he stays he will live longer but not be famous but Achilles decides to go to war
