-Thetis asks Zeus to let the Trojans win the next battle
-Zues says yes and sends a false dream to Agemmemon saying that the Greeks would defeat Troy in battle
- Agemmemon realizes dreams can lie and ask the other kings for their opinion
- Agememmon tests the troops to see how ready they were for battle but many wanted to go home and one got mad but Odysseus got the troops ready
- Paris said he would fight any Greek warrior one on one for Helen but when Menelaus steps up and Paris chickens out
- Hector, his brother, talks some courage into him and he went to fight
- Menelaus almost won but Aphrodite loosened Paris's helmet strap and put an invisible cloak on him
-Helen wants to go back to the Greeks but Aphrodite puts a love spell on her
