Camp Life Ch 15
Soldiers spent little time in actual combat. Most of their time was spent int he camp. Meat, flour, molasses, cornmeal, salt and pepper, and coffee was called the hardtack which is what most of the soldiers ate. Camp Union is where the military soldiers would train. They used the tents which are also portable when they would have to move out. They would also write letters along the way and send them home.
