Geography Chapter 11 and 12

The South had some long summers and even a short summers with not to cold winters. Growing crops was perfect because of all the rain. Steamboats were used for transportation of people and/ or goods. Covered wagons were also used. Growing crops such as cottton were easy because of the fertile soil.
