I see that these trees roots are growing downwards ( positive ) and the tree is growing upwards ( negative ). This picture is an example of geotropism / gravitropism.
The plant is responding to the trees touch therefore it is thigmotropism. When the plant first touches the tree it wraps around it using the tree for support.
These sunflowers are responding to sunlight therefore heliotropes is occurring. I can infer that the sun is where the flowers are facing. The flowers open themselves up to absorb the light to carry out photosynthesis!
