Types of Erosion
Wind erosion is the carrying of particles by wind that are breaking off or wearing away earths surface.
Moving water is a type of erosion because sediments are carried through the water and deposited somewhere else.
Sea or wave erosion is when sediments in the sea ray carried and placed by a wave.
Glacier erosion is when glaciers pick up sediments and transport them thus carving a path of where they travel.
Humans themselves are a type of erosion.Humans cause erosion at a rate 10 to 15 times faster than any natural process. The main cause of man-made erosion is agriculture, followed by construction and mining.
