Conclusion

Overall I learned a lot of good information on Ancient India. The Maurya Empire was very successful with Chandragupta but he was a very brutal leader. When Asoka took over he did not agree with his great grandfather. He did not agree with violence and he wanted to change to a more peaceful society. The Gupta Empire developed in 320AD. It united the Indian Sub Continent. Hinduism is a belief where you focus on your social standing. In order for you to get reborn into something good you have to be high in the Caste System. When Buddhism took over the founder, Siddhartha wanted to change to make a better place for the poor and meditate to bring peace.
