Asoka's Laws were being spread through more than 30 places including- India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Buddhist principles influenced his laws. He created pillars that were 40 to 50 feet high. Most of his laws were written in Sanskrit, but only a few in Greek and Aramaic.

Pataliputra became one of the largest, and richest cities of its time. India was finally united for the first time. Education had become important, and libraries and schools were being built in the capitols. The spread of Buddhism my missionaries was the longest lasting contribution.
