Kansas-Nebraska Act
The Kansas-Nebraska Act wrecked two compromise that of 1820 and 1850. it repealed the Missouri Compromise that it was unconstitutional all along. Congress had no power to ban slavery from the territories regardless even of what the territorial legislature themselves might want.
