LS:C1:L3 Experiment

Question

How can living things be part of more that one food chain?

Prediction

I think that an animal can be part of more than one food chain because in some cases animals from different food chains prey on different animals.

Conclusion

Animals can be part of multiple food chains. They can be this because if they are predators in one food chain they might be prey in another. If you just link the food chains a carnivore can be a top consumer in multiple food chains. If an omnivore was a primary consumer in one food chain it could be a secondary consumer in another. But herbivores always stay in the primary consumer spot.
