•The first consumer of a food chain is most likely to be herbivore.
•Herbivores are are prey to carnivores. They are the predators that eat less dominant animals to survive.
•Many large animals are carnivores. Some examples are sharks, orcas, and lions.
•Omnivores such as bears and monkeys eat both meat and plants. Bears eat food such as fish and berries. Humans can also be omnivores.
•Different decomposers do different things. For example, earthworms only break down plants.
•In different environments there are different food chains . But, each producer gets energy from the Sun.
